Bhagsu waterfall

The current location of Namgyal Monastery, widely known as the “Dalai Lama’s Temple,” is Mcleod Ganj in Dharamsala, India (Tibetan: ; Wylie: rnam rgyal). It is the 14th Dalai Lama’s private monastery. Namgyal Tantric College is an alternative name for this temple complex.

St. John in the Wilderness

A Protestant church honoring John the Baptist is called St. John in the Wilderness. It was constructed in 1852 and is situated in Forsyth Gunj, close to Dharamshala, India, on the route to McLeod Ganj. The Church, constructed in neo-Gothic style within a deodar forest, is renowned for its Belgian stained-glass windows that Lady Elgin (Mary Louisa Lambton), the husband of Lord Elgin, gave. The Diocese of Amritsar oversees the Church. The pastor in charge of this church is Rev. Khojee.

NADDI VIEW POINT

In the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, there is a village named Naddi. It is situated in the upper portions of the Kangra valley at a height of 2000 meters above sea level. The Dalai Lama’s home town of Mc Leod Ganj, which is 3 kilometers away from the village, is well-known internationally.
